The FDA has announced that it is extending the date by which manufacturers must implement changes to the Nutrition Facts label. The original deadline was July 2018 (or July 2019 for small companies). The FDA has not yet announced the new deadline. The reason for the delay is to provide companies additional guidance and time for complying. There are no plans to change the new rules, which were finalized in May 2016.
