- 1 1/2 lbs. small white potatoes, unpeeled (about 4)
- 6 oz chestnuts, roasted, peeled (18–20)
- ½ cup low fat milk, or plant milk of choice
- 2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 nutmeg nutmeg, grated or ground, plus a dash for garnish
- 1 Tbsp dried thyme, plus more for garnish (1 tsp. dried thyme)
- 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
- Pepper, to taste
